This section provides HCAI resources that a trainer can use to build a corporate training program. The documentation refered to below will help all insurer users to familiarize themselves with the different functionalities of HCAI.

Business Implementation Guide is designed to assist insurance companies in managing the implementation of HCAI. Although the guide contains some technical information, the main focus is to provide management with the information necessary to decide how best to integrate the HCAI system into a claims department.
Insurer User Manual (also available at hcai.ca if you have a username and password) presents the overall layout of the HCAI system, including its usage requirements and guides you through simple instructions for responding to Ontario Claims Forms (OCFs) 18, 22, 23 and 21 (invoice) using the HCAI system.
Diagnostic and Intervention Codes provides information about the standard diagnostic and intervention codes used on OCF forms.
Insurer User Role Table (PDF) this table is instrumental in the set-up of users and provides an understanding of the different roles available and the tasks a user will be able to complete.
HCAI Insurer Desktop Quick Start Guide (PDF) outlines the HCAI desktop for the adjuster user and claims administrators. It explains the process to open and view a form as well as the options for adjudication. This is an ideal piece to laminate as part of your training take-aways for new users.
Administrator Site Guide (PDF) outlines the features available to Insurer and Branch level users. The guide reviews Management Tab functionality in regards to Organizations, setting up users as well as claims. This is an ideal piece to laminate for Managers involved in HCAI set-up and maintenance.
