Adjuster Dashboard

HCAI Insurer Dashboard

The HCAI Dashboard allows adjusters, managers, and claims administrator staff to oversee and prioritize their workload.

The adjuster level dashboard is viewable to users with adjuster level access who have the form adjuster role. To learn how to update a user’s role and/or level of access, ask your User Administrator to visit the Updating User Information page and follow the steps under Updating User Contact Information.

Showing Data For

Your view will be defaulted to show your own adjuster name on the “Showing data for” drop-down menu.

  • Click the “Showing data for” drop down menu to view the names of all adjusters whose worklists you currently have access to.
  • Select which adjuster’s data you would like to view, or select “All Accessible Adjusters” to view a compilation of data from all the adjusters listed.

Claimant Summary

The left side of the Dashboard offers an interactive display of assigned open claimants. Choose between three sub-tabs:

  • Claimant by Date of Accident, which organizes the claimants according to the date of accident.
  • Claimants by Activity, which sorts the claimants according to whether there has been activity in the last 180 days.
  • Claimants with No Documents, which displays the claimants who are still open but for which no documents were received. The pie chart is organized according to the length of time the claimant has been open.

Download Claimant Summary Data
Click on the Download button at the top-right of the Claimant Summary side of the Dashboard to view the Download options.

  • Print Chart: Download a printable, PDF version of the chart.
  • Download CSV: Save the chart’s details as a .csv file, viewable in any spreadsheet software.
  • Download Excel: Save the chart’s details as an .xls file, viewable in Microsoft Excel.

Drill Down on Claimant Summary Data
If you have the Claim/Claimant Editor role assigned on your user profile, you will be able to drill down further on these pie charts. If you would like this role assigned, ask your User Administrator to visit the Updating User Information page and follow the steps under Updating User Contact Information.
The Claim/Claimant Editor role allows you to click a dimension of the pie chart (e.g. “Claimants whose date of accident is between 0-90 days”). HCAI will run a claimant search and display a list of all claimants that meet the criteria. You can view up to 100 claimants per page.

  • Click the “Download Report” button to download a .CSV file of the search results. Please note: The report will only include the results displayed on the page. If there are more than 100 results, click the next page number to view more results, and click “Download Report” to download those results in .CSV as well.
  • Click the “Refine Search” button to edit search criteria and refine the results further.

Document Summary

The right side of the Dashboard offers an interactive display of the total outstanding documents sorted into five categories:

  • Submitted Plans: This includes all facility-submitted plans that have not been opened by the insurer.
  • In Review Plans: This includes all facility-submitted plans that have been reviewed by the adjuster but no response has been recorded.
  • Submitted Invoices: This includes all facility-submitted invoices that have not been opened by the insurer.
  • In Review Invoices: This includes all facility-submitted invoices that have been reviewed by the adjuster but no response has been recorded.
  • Invoices, Unlicensed Facilities: This includes all submitted invoices by unlicensed facilities. In the case of unlicensed facilities, the days left for a decision is unknown because of the requirement that the insurer receive a paper copy from the claimant.

Each bar of the chart contains colored sections that indicate document priority.

  • Green: More than 3 days left to adjudicate
  • Yellow: 1-3 days left to adjudicate
  • Red: Immediate action
  • Purple: Days left unknown

Hover your mouse over each coloured subdivision of the bar to view the number of documents that fit the criteria, and the total dollar value of proposed amounts in each category.
