HCAIinfo is Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI)’s information resource website. HCAI is an electronic system developed by Ontario auto insurers, working closely with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO)*, the Ontario Ministry of Finance, various medical rehabilitation provider associations and other stakeholders, for transmitting auto Ontario claim forms (OCFs) between insurers and health care facilities in Ontario.
*Effective June 8, 2019, FSCO’s regulatory functions have been assumed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).
Please be advised of two upcoming scheduled HCAI system outage windows. During this time, the HCAI system will be unavailable to users.
The first outage will begin at 5:00 p.m. (ET) Friday August 29, 2025, and HCAI is expected to resume active status at 8:00 a.m. (ET) Monday September 1, 2025.
The second HCAI outage will begin at 5:00 p.m. (ET) Friday September 19, 2025, and is expected to resume active status at 8:00 a.m. (ET) Monday September 22, 2025.
Health Care Facilities
The Health Care Facilities portal contains information about enroling, getting set up, and managing your facility and users. It also provides step-by-step instructions for filling out, submitting, and tracking OCFs in HCAI.

Insurers
The Insurers portal contains information about setting up your company, users, and claim-claimant records in HCAI. It also provides an overview of useful tools that will help you manage your worklist and data, and provides step-by-step instructions for adjudicating each OCF in HCAI.

Practice Management Software Vendors
This portal contains information for Practice Management Software (PMS) vendors as well as facilities who use PMS to interact with HCAI.

Privacy
This section provides instructions for claimants who are looking to request access to their personal information that has been submitted to HCAI.
