Release 3.24: HCAI Update Going Live November 16, 2020 / September 16, 2020
Release 3.24 goes live November 16, 2020. This is the third and final release out of three to go live this year. The new updates in this release will positively impact your HCAI user operation by providing enhancements to daily used features in HCAI. Also, it continues to aim at improving the user experience by maturing the system and providing the necessary foundational work to ensure HCAI’s functionality for both Health Care Facilities and Insurers. Here are the features to look forward to in Release 3.24:
1. Attribute Field Visible on the OCF-18
You have much to keep track of, and now attribute codes won’t be one of them! As of November 16, 2020, when a session is created on an OCF-18, the attribute codes applied will be visible. This means you’ll save some time as you no longer need to separate a session or open a PDF version of your OCF-18 to view which attribute codes were indicated on the Plan. This will update for all OCF-18’s HCAI-wide including historical and archived Plans.
2. Attribute Code Description now Displayable
HCAI will now display a visible description of the attribute code applied on an OCF when a user hovers their mouse over the attribute code. For example, if “IN” is used, the description “Indirect (eg. Telephone)” will display when the mouse is placed over the applied attribute code. This feature will be available while creating an OCF and when in review mode, and the update applies to all OCF’s except the OCF-23 since it doesn’t have attribute fields.
3. Users can be searched for by First Name
It’s the simple things in life that can make all the difference. As of November 16, 2020, a user search may be generated upon entering the first name on the “User Search” screen. This means when you’re on a first-name basis with your colleagues, that’s all you’ll have to type in to get their user profile to appear in HCAI.
4. Change to Quick Search Bar
To make things a little easier, a document search will be performed as soon as a user presses the “enter” key after entering the search criteria in the top quick search bar. Previously, a user had to enter the search criteria and click the on-screen button “Go” to generate a search. This new feature aims to mirror your typing habits to make searches a swift and simple task.
