HCAI 2021: The Year Ahead / February 3, 2021


The year ahead for HCAI includes two system releases. Release 3.25 goes live on June 28, 2021, and Release 3.26 will be going live in November 2021.

Here are a few things to look out for this year:

1. Changes to Web Browser Compatibility

This year there are some important browser changes to keep in mind. As of March 9, 2021, old versions of Microsoft Edge will no longer be supported. Visit Upgrading to the New Microsoft Edge page for details on how to navigate this change.

When release 3.25 goes live on June 28, 2021, Safari 11 macOS High Sierra (Version 10.13) will no longer be supported. However, Safari 13 on macOS Catalina (Version 10.15) will now be supported. For more information about the recommended system settings visit HCAIinfo’s Computer Requirements page.

2. Upgrades

We continue to provide updates to our security features to keep HCAI data safe and secure and this year’s two releases will include software upgrades, maintenance, and operational maturity to maintain a positive user experience.

3. System Outages

In preparation for Release 3.25, the following system unavailability window is planned:

June 25, 2021 – June 28, 2021

The HCAI system will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, June 25, 2021, and is expected to resume active status at 8:00 a.m. (EDT) on Monday, June 28, 2021.
